Clinique has announced a partnership with Cynthia Erivo. The beauty brand shared the campaign on Instagram with the actress and singer.
“Makeup that makes you look and feel like you? That’s the beauty of this nude look. ✨Featuring NEW Nude Honey Almost Lipstick, a shade that blends with your lips to create a nude unique to you,” the caption read.
Cynthia has been pretty open about what she uses on her skin throughout her career. In an interview with W Magazine, she revealed the products that she uses to hydrate her dry skin, creating a super glowy look. Her go-to brand? Augustinus Bader. “I have dry skin, so the Rich Cream is my go-to,” she explained, adding that she also uses the brand’s serum, foam cleanser, and gel cleanser. “In the morning, I’ll use the gel cleanser bcause it’s a little softer, and I’ll use the foam at night to get rid of all the grime that has accumulated throughout the day.”
However, her top beauty secret is real shea butter. “The kind that is rock solid and hard before you put it on. You have to warm it up in your hands so that it becomes soft,” she told the publication. In fact, she asks her mother to bring it back for her when she goes to Nigeria. “That stuff is a miracle worker. It keeps my skin really smooth and supple. I’ve always been very mindful of making sure to moisturize my skin. I treat it like it’s a meditative and nourishing practice in the morning. It’s a step that I will never skip.”
In addition to this, she loves Biologique Recherche. “L’Eauxygénante is a miracle spray. It’s wonderful, it sort of resets the skin immediately,” she told the pub.
“I also use Paula’s Choice BHA. I recently went to a dermatologist and told her that I use the BHA and that I use an AHA, and she was very impressed.” She continued, “Micellar water feels really nourishing. So after I finish washing my skin, I’ll do a double cleanse with Bioderma Micellar Water.”
