Celebrity beauty brands are either a hit or miss. Some that are clearly doing a fabulous job (whether you agree or not) are:
Ariana Grande’s r.e.m Beauty
Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Skin
Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin
Beyoncé’s Cécred
Jonathan Van Ness’s JVN Hair
Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics
Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern Beauty
Victoria Beckham’s Victoria Beckham Beauty
Miranda Kerr Kora Organics
Harry Styles’ Pleasing
While Harry Styles’ brand Pleasing has been known for their nail care products and polish and apparel, they’ve just extended their product line to include the Big Lip and Cheek Tint—a multi-use balm that can be worn on your lips and cheeks.
This type of product isn’t a new invention, in fact, many of the brands listed above and long time established ones have released their own version of a lip or cheek tint, stain, powder, etc. Milk Makeup has a Lip Stain + Cooling Water Jelly Tint, Charlotte Tilbury has a Tinted Love Lip & Cheek Tint, ILIA has a Multi-Use Color Haze Pigment, and Tower 28 Beauty has a Lip + Cheek Dewy Cream Blush.
Because of it’s two-in-one capabilities, it’s an easy product for people to flock towards and implement into their beauty rituals. So what makes Pleasing’s version different?
More on that ahead, but first:
Stilla Cosmetics appoints Steve Rosen as Chief Financial Officer and David Reece as Chief Operating Officer. “Both Rosen and Reece bring decades of industry expertise and leadership experience to Stila, reinforcing the company's commitment to growth and innovation in the beauty sector,” the release said.
BOF released an article about the path Pat McGrath Labs is going down following the announcement of the makeup artist’s new gig with Louis Vuitton’s new beauty brand. They discuss how the brand has held three rounds of layoffs in 2024, and last month “senior executive Rabih Hamdan announced his departure after less than a year at the company in a letter to staff that suggested turbulence behind the scenes.” He said, “The environment that I had stepped into was not exactly what was depicted to me (and in all fairness I think no one really had the proper grip of the full situation).”
Gisou launched three new Honey Infused Lip Oils: Raspberry Swirl, Bee-Illini Peach, and Glazed Plum. The products will be available on the Sephora app on 3/17 and on sephora.com on 3/18 and in stores.
Sabrina Carpenter stars in new Prada Beauty campaign for the launch of the Pradascope Mascara, which is available to purchase at Sephora now. See the video here.
Galderma is attempting to capture the attention of Gen Z by using Roblox to start a conversation about skincare—calling it the ‘Level Up’ campaign. This stems from the owner of acne brand Differin in hopes to aim at gamers in hopes to educate and empower the gaming community to be more aware of their skin health. To do this, they’ve launched mini-games, which will appear in the NewSmith, Teamwork Puzzles 2, Carry A Friend, Paradise RP, and The Floor is Lava lobbies. The games include Foam Blaster, Power Patch Splat, and Zit Zapper where players will use a different blaster to clean faces with Differin’s products.

Pucker up and blush
With Pleasing’s new The Big Lip + Cheek Tint Trio Set.
This pigmented, flavorless, multi-use balm will give your lips and cheeks a sheer color. What’s more, the product will nourish your lips, ensuring they’re moisturized after each use. The best part about The Big Lip + Cheek Tint product is that it’s formulated with ingredients that will bring your skin’s natural complexion to life with natural oils, butters, and flavors from natural fruit, and flower extracts.
The brand announced the launch on Instagram with the caption, “Now available on Pleasing.com, Big Lip & Cheek Tint. Prioritizing nourishment and moisturization, while offering a hint of color, this formula is packed with efficacious ingredients that bring your glowing complexion to life. Shop it as a trio or solo, wear it across your cheeks or lips—the combinations are endless, and the choice is all yours. Find your Pleasing.”
On theme with brands like Rhode, r.e.m, and Rare Beauty, Pleasing is hosting a pop up to celebrate the launch of their new product. “Pucker up and blush, our Big Lip & Cheek Tint is motel merchandise exclusive to the Pleasing Inn. But not for long. Get it here first, IRL in ATX, before its online debut on March 10,” they wrote in an Instagram post. “📍The Pleasing Inn at Austin Motel 1220 S Congress Avenue, Austin Texas NOW OPEN through March 23 Sunday - Thursday, 10am - 6pm Friday & Saturday, 10am - 7pm.”
The Big Lip + Cheek Tint Trio Set is complete with three shades: Apply Blush (a warm red hue); Peachy Cheeked (a sheer pinkish nude); and Quite Rosey (a sheer berry). The best part of this new product may just be the packaging—and it’s no secret that the brand has a stellar marketing and graphic design team behind the designs. The product is packaged in aluminum push-up tubes, making the application process a breeze.
You can buy The Big Lip + Cheek Tint Trio Set $25 on the brands website.
