Vol 10: Lancôme’s New Idôle Power Eau De Parfum Intense Campaign Features Olivia Rodrigo
The brand is entering a "bold new era."
Lancôme recently announced an exciting new campaign featuring pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo—the new face of the company. Lancôme launched a new fragrance, Idôle Power Eau de Parfum Intense, which was formulated to disrupt “the status quo.”
Lancôme says this fragrance “breaks the mold with a bold new intensity,” and will dare you to “embrace who you truly are.” The campaign was created in hopes to help others embody the confidence and vulnerability Rodrigo has helped her generation capture—in the midst of change and finding ones own destiny.
“Embrace changes, embrace mistakes, I think by doing that, you become a more empowered individual,” Rodrigo says.
While the campaign is flawless and empowering, the fragrance is even better. The top note is Pomarose, which blends rose and sugared apple facets. The middle notes feature the essence of rose Damascena, rosewater, and jasmine extract. The base (my favorite part) is a creamy sandalwood, sandalwood essence, musk, and Ambrofix.
The fragrance crafted by perfumers Shyamala Maisondieu, Nadège le Garlantezec, and Adriana Medina of Givaudan, is a long lasting scent that will stay with you each time you wear it.
The first time I smelled it, I felt it was very feminine and definitely a fragrance with a bold character. I felt like I was running into a field," Rodrigo told Harpers Bazaar. "It’s a perfume that brings out the sparkling, fun-loving part of my personality. It makes me feel like I can conquer the world with confidence. It’s a playful, pick-me-up fragrance. I wear it every day."
Lancôme shared the new fragrance with an exciting video on Instagram. “A journey of empowerment? Sign us up,” the caption read.
